Did the VP tell you that it was a bad lesson, or is that your personal opinion? If not, wait until you debrief with your VP before you start worrying. Even if it did go bad, the VP should have some suggestions for you. Keep in mind that a VP can find something wrong even with a "perfect" lesson as his job is to help you improve instruction. One observation should not make you want to quit teaching. Observations will show growth over time, I suggest meeting with the VP and ask for some help or suggestions. Remember you do not have sign the observation. Ask a union rep. to sit down with the VP and yourself if you are not comfortable doing it alone.
