Please read the Bangor Daily News March 1, 2003 editorial
entitled "Fire in the Hole" from the following site....To
denigrate all Maine school personnel based on what one or
two or even a few persons may have done is unconscionable.
The media has blown all of this waaaaaay out of
porportion. It is hard for me to believe that so many can
jump on this bandwagon of accusations without knowing the
facts. Does all of America really believe everything they
hear from Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly? For goodness
sake, get a grip. Educators certainly have more integrity
than this. To accuse the teachers of the entire state of
Maine as being negative to our beloved troops is patently
wrong.
