Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

Dear people who taught through the 80's: I know history repeats itself. I also know there were some tough times in the 80's when it came to teacher jobs. If history has taught us anything, this little "teacher overload when no one can find a decent job" thing will pass. Do you seasoned teachers think the market will recover for teaching jobs? Are we "youngsters" just getting worried and worked up over nothing because we can't find good jobs now? Or do you think our beloved profession is done for in Michigan? Any insight is really appreciated! I'm at my third year at a charter school, and I really can't see keeping this up for the next 27 years. Do you guys think there is light at the end of the tunnel?? Thanks so much!! :D
