I am currently designing a study for my dissertation, and I am in need of a sample population of general education teachers K-12 in Michigan who teach or closely work with the English language learner students. I would post a survey of about 20-30 questions on teacher self-efficacy as it pertains to teaching ELLs. In recent years, MI’s ELL student population has rapidly grown and I want to know if teachers feel prepared in teaching ELLs. Are teachers receiving the professional development they need to impact ELL student academic achievement? For my study, the population will consist of full-time elementary, middle, and high school regular education teachers from school districts across Michigan.
