Hello,

Wonder if anyone can enlighten me on moving out of state to peruse a job. Could you share with me some of your experiences or advice? Currently, I do not have any job offers myself, but plan on hitting up web sites and sending out emails ASAP.

My girlfriend and I are moving out to the Philadelphia region where she will be attending a residency position at UPen this July. While I dearly love this state and would love to stay, she is the love of my life and would go to the moon for her. As of now, I have a provisional certificate with Majors in Physical Education and Social Studies (currently working towards a master in Adaptive PE). I plan on transferring to a program to complete my masters.

Does anyone have any advice for me when moving out of state? What were your experiences? What will happen if I do not complete my 15 credits (here in Michigan) to transform my provisional cert to a professional? Will it expire, what can I do afterwards? Your help ...See More
El You can call the PA state board of ed... then there will be no questions. In my experience they (all the states) have been really helpful!

Missing MI Michigan Learnport has been a savior for me in getting SB-CEU's to keep my MI certificate current. From what I've heard, most states LOVE MI teaching certificates-at least GA and TX did.
