I just got hired last week as a computer teacher for a charter school here in MI. I'm K-8 self contained, and 6-8 with language arts (bx) and social studies (rx) endorsements. Hence my puzzlement when hired for this position.
But so be it. I'm curious: were y'all given a curriculum? Is there a certification MI computer teachers are supposed to have? How much of what is taught concerns nuts n' bolts stuff--using the home row, delete button, etc.--and how much is teaching subject material via technology?
