For 5 years I worked as a Resouce Teacher/Asst. for the
Special School District of St. Louis County in the
Hazelwood School District. Last Spring my supervising
teaacher ask that I be rehired for the 2006-2007 school
year. However this recommendation was ignored by the
Superintendent of Special School District due to the fact
I had filed a disability discrimination complaint aganist
in 2003. I have this in writing. The Human Rights
Commission is investigating. However they are getting no
help from NEA here in St. Louis I had paid dues to NEA
FOR THE BETTER PART OF 23 YEARS and now no help. My
disability Cerebral Palsy. I believe I should be getting
more for my dues from the NEA. Can anyone in this
community help I'm spending all my savings to live I miss
teaching. Don't join MNEA. Little Chief
