LakeFest Friday evening this features Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Trent Tomlinson and advance tickets are only $25. Saturday activities are all day...starting with activities ( a variety of music, carriage rides, arts, crafts, Mad Scientist, Reptiles up Close and Personal, and of course the huge Amelia birthday cake. These are on the new downtown pedestrian mall and most are FREE. And then Saturday evening enjoy the aerobatic show and the culminating fireworks concert. It's fireworks synchronized to music...done by Paul Austin, and one of the best fireworks in the Midwest. And you might want to visit the Amelia birthplace home overlooking the river.
