I am a 32 yr old male and currently in Grad. school pursuing a degree in Agribusiness. I have an undergrad degree in Business Management. I am interested in possibly becoming a teacher in Missouri (Northern Missouri). What route should I take in order to answer any questions I may have? Is it possible for me to become a teacher with the degrees I have? I would imagine an Ag teacher would be a good fit but I am curious? Also, is it possible to teach while obtaining my Grad degree even though I have no formal education classes. Just looking for some insight and the proper channels to access in order to get the ball rolling.

Thanks

The government does not want you to get a windfall at retirement. Since you will be collecting retirement from the Public School Retirement, your payments from So...See More

To P.Kiefer from Tnet frined In some states teachers cannot collect social security at all -- even if (like me) the teacher worked in the "real world" for a number of years before becoming a teacher.

Sadie Check the Stafford Loan teacher forgiveness program. Teaching Agriculture SCIENCES for five years in a district labeled as a poverty-district MIGHT yield you a $17,000 payment on your Stafford loans. Not a bad way to pay off a huge portion of your student loans. On 1/25/09, BSC10 wrote: > I am a 32 yr old male and currently in Grad. school > ...See More
