115C-301.1 This part of NC general statutes prevents a principal from doing this. Feel free to look it up to see the exact wording. At my school, some teachers have agreed to give up their planning to help out when a need arose but guess what, they also got paid for it! Good Luck

Well I guess it no longer matters to anyone about this statute. PENC refuses to fight for me to get compensated for my planning and of course the human resource department won't help either.
