I am interested in relocating to Northern NH to teach
Sped. Basically, here are my questions?
- How much do NH teachers pay into teachers retirement?
- Do NH teachers have to pay into social security (in some
states, they don't)
- Will NH districts give step credit for at least 10 years
certified teaching experience?
- How much are teachers in NH expected to pay for helath
insurance premiums (for a family plan)?

Teacher Chatboards
Not sure on the retirement but there is a NH Retirement System.
It comes out of my pay and I don't think about it.
The other questions are by district as to what the perks are.
SS is also taken out in NH.
