I am a new hire who will be teaching AP Physics. I am alternate route and have CEs in physical science and mathematics. I completed the New Pathways Stage I several years ago. I am told I now need to enroll in a provisional teachers program or New Pathways Stage II. Does any one know the pros and cons of these options? I already have an advanced degree (Ph.D.) so there isn't a salary scale issue. My issues are cost, time and value (i.e. will I learn anything worthwhile).
