Has anyone ever been called for an interview by way of applying through AppliTrack? I have read that there are specific "things" the system looks for, and will actually disqualify an application for. However, none of the sites have said really anything specific, other than underlining can disqualify etc.

When applying through AppliTrack does anyone send out paper resume follow ups?

Thanks, Ryan

Rebecca Do not listen to this troll! Keep trying, and something will happen soon. Try all types of schools (private, charter, etc.) If you want to teach, you will find something!

John Yes, I have been called for interviews from applitrack, and I have gotten a job. And no I did not know anyone in the district.

But, if I send 10 applitrack applications, I'll get maybe one interview as opposed to sending 10 paper resumes via mail where I'll get about 3 interviews.

Steve It certainly can't hurt. Unless everyone else has the same idea...

John Ryan, No I never followed up with a paper resume. I've noticed some ads state 'no phone calls' or 'apply online only'. So, I'd watch for that, you don't want to make anyone angry. Administrators are busy enough without having to go thru duplicate paperwork.

I think more than anything, it all depends on the type of teaching position. For e...See More
