A little history: I taught in PA for 6 years and have a permanent certificate there. I left my part-time job in August to take a full-time job in NJ, knowing that it would be for the year only due to the residency requirement (I cannot move to NJ for a number of reasons, and can't prove financial hardship to get an exemption). I was offered a full-time job in PA several weeks ago and have accepted it. I signed an offer letter for the NJ job, but never a contract.

Because I never signed a contract, does the 60 days' notice not apply? If I decide to give, let's say, two weeks' notice, are there any possible repercussions?
ron/nj As you didn't sign a contract, don't give it a second thought. Take the job, give weeks notice, and relax.
