I homeschooled my daughter starting in 2001 when she was in the 5th grade. She stayed with ECOT until her Junior year. At that time homeschooling was not very popular and I took a lot of flack from Public School teachers. When my daughter took the state required test she passed every subject with flying colors. I was very involved with her education and I think that makes a big difference. She never was an early riser and did her best work after 10:00 am. This was a non issue with ECOT as long as she got her hours in and her work completed. My daughter is now 26 years old and is one of the most well rounded young woman you could ever meet. She gets along well with people of all ages and has the most common sense of anybody I've ever met. ECOT is not for those who are looking for an easy ride through school.
