I'm taking the OGET for first time 9/19 through the Alt. Certif. Program. I've read all related posts back to 11/08 which are very helpful & am studying from the study guide. However, I still have a question: how can I best prepare for the Liberal Studies section, which includes Science, Art & Literature, Social Sciences? What percentage of the exam covers these topics?

sms I am in the Tulsa area, but looking for anything from Tulsa to east of here. I am from Arkansas so it wouldn't bother me to work close to Arkansas at all.

sms The first of the test is listening comprehension. The it is multiple choice. Then your essay question, then you go to a separate room and you are given a scenario. You have 1 minute to formulate what you are going to say and 2 minutes to speak into a tape recorder.

Abbey O The OGET really isn't too tough. You can check out a book or buy it at Barnes and Noble ... it is called The Best Teacher's Test Preparation OGET & OSAT....but they have several other options on the shelf. They are not in the referrence section like one might expect, rather, you can find them in the "Oklahoma section".
