POSITIONS IN FORT MILL DISTRICT, ANY?

My fiance and I are relocating after we get married next July. I am a kindergarten teacher in Buffalo,NY. Are there any jobs in Fort mill? Is it a tough district to get into? I am also looking at CMS-south Charlotte area. Thanks. Shan

We live here in Buffalo too. Hubby just got a sub position in our school district and was called from one of the districts in SC. How long have you been a teacher? Times are pretty tough here. Shannon Debbie, I've been teaching for almost four years in the city and Im so tired of fighting for positions in the suburbs. A few of my friends were actually layed off this year in some of the suburban districts because of budget cuts. I dont see it getting better. What district did your husband get called from in SC? Debbie He was called from Greenville County. One of my sister's childhood friend's just relocated there with her family. So far they like living there. Her husband was offered a job there, but is not a teacher.

Debbie LOL! I just cannot believe that your kindergarteners are so bad. My husband student taught at a couple of the schools in Buffalo and the stories were just amazing. Although, the middle school experience was really good. If they would have had an opening, he would have taken it. The high school was not too good and his co-op teacher was pretty grump...See MoreLOL! I just cannot believe that your kindergarteners are so bad. If they would have had an opening, he would have taken it. The high school was not too good and his co-op teacher was pretty grumpy. I think she is close to retirement. He has not even been called to sub for them. Here they need teachers, and they just sit on their butts. Incredible!!
