I am at a new school this year and my schedule is interesting. They assigned me a conference period during the "intervention period" of the day. I am the only teacher in the whole school that has a conference during this time. Which means I have 7 graded sections of classes every day where all of the other teachers have only 6 graded sections (+ their conference and a non-graded intervention period). Should I be entitled to additional pay or a stipend to make up for the additional responsibilities? I am not trying to cause issues, I just want to make sure I am getting what I deserve. 4 preps, 7 graded classes every day and the shortest period of the day as my conference.
