Hi. I work with a teacher who is extremely hard to deal
with. She is very degrading, yells alot, thinks all
questions are stupid, gives horrible looks, etc. Every
time I get up to do something, she asks what I am doing
and why. If a student is talking, even to me, she gets
extremely irate and yells; "I told you not to talk at
all!". If I ask a question she squints her eyes and gives
me a look as if I have no business asking such questions.
She will ask me to do something without explaining then
gets mad when it's not done right. The classroom
atmosphere is close to that of boot-camp to me. I hate
working w/ this woman. She has been turned in to the
superintendent over and over from other aides in the
past. The other teachers agree know exactly what I'm
talking about and many have said: There's always one in
the building and she's that one! Any advise? Thank you.

I take it you are her aide. My opinion is to document what you
see and hear this woman doing. There is a difference between
being a stricy teacher and being a degrading, manipulative and
abusive teacher. Which is she? If she is the later, you need
to talk to someone in your building about the situation.
