If all goes well I will be graduating with a B.A. in
elementary education in Colorado in August of 2007. I have
been considering which states I should look for teaching
jobs, and I was wondering: is Wisconsin out of the
question? Is the job market in elementary as rough there
as the rest of the country???

If you will teach in a rural area in WI then you will get a
job very easily. You may be teaching K-3 or 4-6 all in one
classroom though.

Thanks for your reply! I am hoping to student teach in a
combined classroom so I wouldn't have a problem teaching in
such a room. I will definitely keep that in mind.

True. It seems that all the states I'm interested in are the
competitive ones. :-( I suppose I had better look into the
ones that you mentioned.
