You should be totally and utterly angry with the deportment of the teachers we are seeing in your state capital. I live in Illinois, and before that in New Jersey. All of these state have financial difficulty. I am a retired accountant, but my mother was a teacher for 40 years. If she were still alive I'm sure she would have been appalled at the behavior of your teachers. What kind of an example are they setting for our young? This is certainly NOT the way to voice concern or disagreement with public policy. Things in the United States are most certainly beginning to resemble those in the Near East. I'm sure many of your teachers do not agree with the course of action things are taking in your part of the United States. At least, I certainly hope that is the case.

hmm Many state teachers dont have collective bargaining rights and they get paid less each year than teachers in WI do and they get on just fine. Sure they would like things to be better but they dont take actions that hurt the kids and make themselves look greedy like a big corperation.. Many people do not approve of comparisons to Hitler ever. I for one do not approve of either side doing this - never have, never will. Once again, it's being ridiculously hyperbolic. Walker like Hitler? Idiotic. Obama like Hitler? Assanine.

And people on BOTH sides are huge hypocrites - they think it's okay when their party does it, but scream and cry when the other one does. Do you really think that all dems think it's okay to make comparisons to Hitler, or are you just trying to insight anger? Because even when I saw the Republicans doing it, I didn't think "all Republicans think this is okay" or "all Republicans are stupid". I have many friends in both parties and I don't like making sweeping and ridiculous generalizations about people in either party, so please think about it when you get angry and think these things and really think about it before you write them down for the world to read. It's easy to lash out in anger. And the easy way is what has gotten this country to this broken, angry, polarized place.

So when Republicans say that "liberals" hate America what is that? Isn't that trying to say liberals can't have an opinion opposite to theirs or they "hate America"? What kind of message do Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh send to those who have a different opinion than they do? That they welcome dialogue and that we should respect different opinions? I for one think both parties are hypocrites and neither one is contributing to making this country any better. And neither do your harsh generalizations and nasty comments.
