In Georgia, even without collective bargaining or any real unions, the teachers several years ago were committed to getting out and voting against a governor who was anti-education. It was stunning, to say the least, to see the commitment and subsequent voter turnout coming from the states teachers!
Final result: The first Republican (pro-education surprisingly) governor of Georgia elected since reconstruction.
It can be done, or in your case MUST be done!
