It is rather curious to me that the topic of violence in our schools was removed. I guess the entire state is afraid to face the truth. Are you waiting for your first student suicide before you take things seriously?

Paw Paw Parent lease read the article that is attached to this post. If I was a parent of the student who was injured, I would sue. Thank you for the post. I believe the reason that the police took this on is because there were serious injuries and the offender is legally an adult. been there I agree that the parents and child should be held responsible, but perhaps the system should as well. Leave the individual teachers alone, they can not make policy. This is a school system that has a bad record in regard to doing nothing to curb the violence. Leave the individual teachers alone, they can not make policy. This is a school system that has a bad record in regard to doing nothing to curb the violence. I know of cases where students were not given proper discipline because they were already involved with the juvenile system. One more suspension would mean being sent to juvie, so the principle let her slide. If a kid is causing that much trouble maybe they should be incarcerated for a time. Better for the protection of the school population.
