I hear that Westest scores are down in the state. I wonder if we should worry?

scores up - sort of The actual scores rose - but the scores required for "mastery" were also raised therefore, fewer students made mastery even though overall the scores were higher.

The cut score for Distinguished was lowered so we have more students who made Distinguished.

i think they were way down What I heard is the whole state was awful! Our county as well and our super is LESS than pleased.

WV Teacher This was supposed to be the year that test scores were expected to be in the toilet, due to the the rigors of the new test, AND because Manchin increased the bars for proficiency and mastery during mid-year.
