Come on Jefferson County! Keep the kids in school by punishing the parents! Not by giving "exemption" on exams. - You're not doing the children in our county any favors by doing this, sure their attendance may be better, but their test taking skills? NO! My daughter got to college and had no idea how to study for an exam.

On the flip side, this semester one of our teachers (who shall remain nameless at this point in time) gave out the study guide (required by law apparently?) gave the study guide to the class, proceeded to simply give them the answers for the study guide... "number one, b; number 2, d" and so on. On the day of the exam, he did his duty and handed out the little scantron paper, with the little fill in bubbles and told the class "pull out your study guides and fill in the letters" the kids were confused for a moment and then he explained "get out your study guides and fill in the same answers on the test sheet, one, b..." Concerned Taxpayer I CHECKED WITH THE BOARD RECENTLY, AND IT SEEMS THAT MRS. L______ WILL NOT BE HAVING HER F/T SPANISH TEACHER POSITION AT THE MS AFTER ALL.LOL

JMO When principals accept their high paying positions, most assume they're willing to do their jobs, even the uncomfortable part when they have to do the observations and paperwork to remove a teacher or service professional. If Principals don't want to do their jobs, then THEY should be removed! Remember, there are bad principals too.

youdon't know me True, very true Angry & Anynymous. Did he make a mistake? sure! was it irresponsible? sure! is it a bad example? of course. However... honestly does it have anything to do with the way he does his job, I would venture a guess that it doesn't.
