If...See MoreI'm an archivist currently researching the original Letter People kindergarten and first-grade program. (1968-1996) I'm fascinated by its educational legacy and cultural impact, and I'm working to preserve it as much as possible. I run an archive (https://archive.org/details/@the_letter_people) where I share my findings with the public.
If any of you have any personal experiences, old materials (like cassettes, VHS's, books, classroom kits, etc.), or know of anyone who was involved with the program — whether as a student, teacher, or creator — I'd love to hear from you. Any leads would be incredibly helpful to this project. Thanks.
Hello! I'm an English teacher who teach Elementary School and High School. Any tips on how to finish a lesson effectively without making students skipping the class? I'm worried that most of them are skipping my class because I am easy to be deceived. Instead of going to the toilet, students are mostly going to the cafetaria.
Set a routine: End every lesson with a 3-5 minute recap or quick quiz ("What did you learn today?").
You can find ready-to-use exit tickets, review games, and quick worksheets at https://worksheetzone.org. They make lesson endings smooth and students less likely to skip.
