Great to see jrod has returned from being slothful!
I went to cycling this am and had to get off the bike at the last song because I was feeling dizzy. I didn't want to fall off my bike. I laid down and boy did I get full fledged attention. The instructor held up my legs to get the blood back to my head. Then an RN in the class identified herself and took my pulse. Then a doctor came and identified himself and he asked me questions about my heart, any high blood pressure mess, etc. By then I felt much better and was able to get up and be steady. I am not sure what caused this since my breakfast and water intake was the same. I do suspect it has something to do with this sinus cold I have been unable to shake for a month now. Last night I took a cough med I that I never take but I wanted a good night sleep. I got that but I wonder if the stuff dehydrated me. Anyway I am fine now and I know that should anything serious ever happen that is the place to be. I used to black out at a school I used to teach in (sick building with suspected mold) so I recognized the feeling this am(one time when I blacked out at that school I fell and hit my head on a steel doorway and had to go to the hospital in an ambulance with a concussion)

Back in the gym today. I did my weight training circuit and was pleased that I didn't have to lower reps, weights or time.
For the cardio, I started my C25K app. It felt so good to able to run during the running parts and actually do it! I compared the data from a previous workout (September 2016) to today's and my time and pace were better.
I walked locally foe 100 minutes. Then I had the best salad ever thanks to leftovers. Lettuce, chicken, avocado, black beans, rice, cheese, and salsa. So good.
Judy, delete the chicken and the cheese, and I'm with you. I love salads with lettuce, black beans, and avocado. I'd add some tortilla chips, corn, red peppers, kalamata olives and a chipotle-may dressing, and it's "crack" for my soul. Yummmy.
I did a 3-stage walk, and I made it to 10,384. Whew! Darkness descends. DH's aunt from Illinois spent the afternoon here. What a treat! Busy day.

I've worked for Morgan school and they are one the worst schools in TEFL industry. Morgan school is an awful teaching environment. The staff don't care about teachers and don't even pay wages properly or in full. They are stealing and scamming teachers from their wages, especially with over-time hours. They are lying on the contracts. The actual working practice of this school is quite unprofessional. They are simply ignorant and disorganised. You need to ask many times for some simple things that are essential for teaching. Morgan Schools are a grim place to work. I'd never recommend this School. They seem to be very good in their poster ads and marketing, but teachers are not happy. Morgan schools are part of a franchise operation and very new. They are desperate to grow and their own training for new directors of schools is non-existent. They are set up with a perfect marketing plan to get students, but they lie about their courses and then they scam the teachers because of the pathetic course they promise the students. The courses are below standard, but they still charge the students full pay. Then teachers are not paid overtime and when they complain then some are dismissed or they are threatened with abusive behaviour from the director. I have worked for other schools before and Morgan School are the worst by far. They are not just dishonest about their work and contract, but abusive and very disrespectful to Teachers. The running of the school is so slack, I can't believe they can call it a school. The person who owns this whole network is a cheating, disgusting and greedy man. He knows very well how to cheat teachers. Morgan School is a shameful environment to work and they are a disgrace to teachers and TEFL industry. If you must go to Italy, then don't work for Morgan Schools. They are a con and pathetic.
I invite you to participate in a very brief online survey that will be part of my doctoral dissertation.
Your participation would include completing a 10-minute online survey within the next three weeks. By completing this brief survey, you will be contributing to the development of a new instrument designed to help schools assess the extent to which they use research in practice. As a teacher, administrator, or related service provider, your input is extremely valuable.
If you choose to participate, copy and paste the link to the survey provided below.
You can also choose to participate in a prize drawing for one of two $50 Visa gift cards by copying and pasting the link below and entering your email. You can enter into this drawing regardless of whether you participate in the online survey or not.
Judy, spring is lovely everywhere, That reservoir is fine factor in your life, isn't it?
Only 2000+ steps yesterday. Habitat did grocery bagging for a local store (we get a portion of the $$ intake for the day). And, I went to "La La Land" at the library's free showing in the afternoon--I really loved that one.
Today I walked with SIL and then DH and I walked a county park. Oh, what a glorious carpet beside the paths. Most Spring Beauty in their delicate lavender with occasional purple phlox and more prevalent white trillium and a precious few pink trillium. Wow! 6591 steps.
judycaretYes, I do revere the reservoir, Elaine. Too bad I can't post a pic here. I walked it again today and loved listening to my book and enjoying nature.
