I've stayed in the entertainment area twice. Two different hotels. Once for three days. Once for seven.
No matter where you stay you'll need a car so I'd go for the value of the hotel. It's not a walkable destination area. But there is plenty of parking. I'd look for the nicest hotel I could get for a reasonable price.
The second time we stayed we actually stayed at a time share resort that also rented. The rate was very good and we had a small kitchenette area that enabled us to have breakfast in the room. It was very nice and had all of the conveniences that a traveler would want. It even had an evening, once a week, where performers from various shows would come and give a preview of their show.

DH and I cleaned up the huge tree that fell a week or so ago. Just missed the house by 10 feet! Now I am "eyeballing" the other trees on the edge of the woods.......Scary!
7,834 steps for today...pt workout and 2 miles hall walking. Should have been a country road walk, but too many things to do, getting ready for DS visit. :)
I solo walked the reservoir today in a light sprinkle, umbrella in one hand, cane (just in case) in the other. Thank goodness listening to a book doesn't require a hand.

I agree, paid.
You are not the only procrastinator. Tomorrow, I start! And hopefully, finish!
I have to see if I can into class on Friday instead of my reserved Thursday date since I am trying to get some extensive dental work done before my dental insurance stops due to my official retirement date that got set finally.
It is a gorgeous spring day today, cool yet sunny. Yesterday I got caught in a hailstorm yesterday morning which dented my car's roof all over. That roof will get its second redo in its short life. The last time a gust of wind pushed one of those tents out of the supports at a health fair and dropped and dragged over my car roof. Very freaky! At least my littlle granddaughter and I didn't get impaled by those rods. It took two years before she didn't panic when a storm with wind was coming.
The observation about dog walkers and pet sitters is no better. Some tie the dog(s) up to a sign post while they go get food or more dogs. Others put the dogs in parked cars while they go get food or more dogs. Parked cars get so hot and can lead to a deadly situation very quickly. Some of her clients have found that their previous walker/sitters have been in their home using drugs or having s3x.
There are many who do a good job but if you are allowing someone else to care for your child, elderly relative, or pet, check up on the caregiver and make sure that they are meeting your expectations because those who are being cared for can't tell you what is really going on.

I had a friend who had a horrible experience with a nanny so when she hired a new one she asked me to check on her for me. She sent them to the town park at a prearranged time and I went an observed without the new nanny's knowledge. I was happy to be able to report she was wonderful with him- attentive, playful and appropriate.
When we adopted our second child in Denver we had to stay in state until all of her paperwork cleared. It ended up being close to a month. After a couple of days in a motel room with a newborn her new big brother, a 2 yr. old was going stir crazy so we looked into a short term preschool placement. I saw a couple of truly horrid facilities, places I wouldn't send my dog to, before finding a fabulous lab school preschool. The irony is that there was little difference in price and the quality was so different. I wondered if some parents just didn't know what high quality child care looked like.

Or sometimes, hubby and I stay in Burlington across from the casino so that I can indulge in my favorite activity - people watching at the casino. And maybe play a few slots.....
