Will education be completely online based in the future? MOOCs are moving fast and gaining momentum by the hour. Here’s what you should know about them..
The birthday party at the zoo was a success Sunday. Since we were in charge of the second hour after the animal visits, I had the kids play about four games which helped personalize the party. Since parents around here don't seem to have home birthday parties anymore, it's sad that all the ones I have taken the kids to the past couple years have been to "one size fits all" venues like pizza party places or trampoline parks. The kids have fun, but those lack the uniqueness and social aspect that private parties offer.
Haven't heard one way or the other on whether I got that job I interviewed for. I should hear something by the end of the week.
We are expecting a cold front coming through tomorrow - maybe snow flurries! Yikes. One day only though.
I walked a bit and went to my oldies' exercise class. It was just lovely when the instructor and classmates expressed concern that I wasn't there last week when DH's caregiver was ill. Very sweet.

I absolutely agree with you. Something does not seem just quite right. If it is true, I am sorry for the students that have that teacher. My questions for the OP is why do you take a different name for each response? I know you are able to, but it's certainly becoming suspicious. You started with brideldee, then changed to Skylar, then possibly Brianna and then back to Skylar.

Pt workout this morning. Had the place almost to myself. Treadmill this afternoon. 10,872 steps. Weekend was beautiful, but cloudy and scattered showers today. More coming tonight. This is why we like spring and warmer temps....it takes it's time getting here and we are so happy to see it!
Elaine, thanks again for recommending the TJ Chili Lime Seasoning. I've recommended it to friends and they love it, too. My #1 favorite is sprinkling it on jicama. Big yum!
I am currently in school for my Early Childhood Montessori certification. I have an assignment that requires me to interview an experienced Montessori teacher to discuss how she organizes her language area and her preferred style for handwriting. I thought this would be a different way to get some information. If you are an EC Montessori teacher, it would be so great if you could reply to this message!
This skill is particularly important because of the proliferation of altered truths circulating the Internet through email and website propaganda that too many people take as fact because it is written, when, in reality, it is merely opinion.

I'm starting to find it difficult to find my resources due to the masses I have and also multiple storage areas.
I would love to know what strategies other teachers are using. Thank you in advance
elsievI use Google Docs to manage my digital files. Everything is organized in folders by unit title (for curriculum and lesson planning "stuff") or by file type (e.g. "correspondence", forms, etc.)
Everything is in one place and I can access it any place where I have Internet access.
Just a half hour walk today. A Habitat photo shoot. And tonight I'm doing a q/a on plant-based foods at the local library. Lots of prep for that. Fun.
