I like "real fabrics," not tencel, microfiber, polyester, "lace." I like wool, tweeds, cotton, linen, etc. I also don't like gaudy prints; preferring solids or tartans, plaid--classic.

In a weekend of looking for work skirts, it seems that thigh and butt high is about all that's available! Even on LL Bean, Old Navy, Ann Taylor, etc. Where do women in their fifties buy decent clothes? I don't like animal prints, bold stripes, weird prints in garish colors...clothes that I can mix and match, and wear forever...too much to ask for? :) I have written to three clothing stores to let them know that older women seem to be over looked...

to Donna Congrats on your weight loss. That's great. I lost 5o lbs last year and have gained a bit back. You're right - have to watch slipping back into bad habits. DonnaR/CA Maybe 10F is fine if you're used to cold weather, but not for this Southern Californian! Going outside at that temperature hurt my face!!!
