Greetings,

I'm a college professor in physics, and I'm reworking my classroom sessions for Introductory Calculus Based Physics. In the past, I've used LaTeX output to .pdf files, displayed as slides, but I want to move away from that, and have the students review the lecture notes outside of class.

I'd like to add audio and simple animations to the slides, and present them in an easy format that the students can download to a phone, tablet, or PC, and I'm looking for good software to create those files.

I tried to use Adobe Reader, but it would insert a speaker button that if activated, would play the sound. And when I opened the saved file on my mac using preview, the sound button wasn't there.

Any suggestions as to what to look at? I'd prefer something free, or at least with a demo period, so I can try before I spend money on something.

Regards, Martin
