Just wondering how other teachers manage their digital/electronic files. What system do you use to simplify finding files considering everything may be online, on usbs and portable hard drives.

I'm starting to find it difficult to find my resources due to the masses I have and also multiple storage areas.

I would love to know what strategies other teachers are using. Thank you in advance
elsiev I use Google Docs to manage my digital files. Everything is organized in folders by unit title (for curriculum and lesson planning "stuff") or by file type (e.g. "correspondence", forms, etc.)

Everything is in one place and I can access it any place where I have Internet access.
