I taught Kindergarten and when I bought a new book and CD I copied/burned a new CD and kept the original in my cabinet. I often bought multiple copies of the book so I made enough copies to have 1 copy per book. If something happened to one of the CDs, I just made another copy. I taught preschool through K age. When Scholastic switched from cassette to CD it made my life easier. I don't think I ever had anything happen to one of the cds.
