Just curious: I have been teaching for 8 years now. The first 3 were in one district. Then we moved and I taught for 3 more years in another district. The last 2 years were each in different districts in a new state, which we don't really like.

Would you recommend staying at my newest job for a few years instead of job searching again? There was nothing wrong with my past two one-year jobs, we just really don't like the state we're in. We thought changing areas this past year would help, but we are somewhere really flat and without mountains or any ocean nearby and we miss these things.

Is that too much job movement? Should we stay here another year or two and then look? I just don't know how this much movement will look on my resume. Or how it will look that I had two one-year positions in a row. Thanks.
men52 Your situation caught my eye as we live in one of those flat places with no mountains or oceans. I have lived elsewhere in this state - one with numerous lakes and the other with plenty of rolling wooded hills.
