I had one other question I wanted to ask. What criteria do you use based on the results of formative assessment to determine when it would be wise to move on to the topic of study? I mean I know all teachers in an ideal world always shoot for 100%, but we know we don't live in an ideal world. So what would be an acceptable percentage to say yeah let's move on they get it?
Deb ms/IA In math is is very difficult to move on if a large group of kids don't get the current concept so in math you may have to group reteach before going on. In literature it flows a little easier and you can move on.
