I am a substitute teacher in California with a California emergency credential, substituting in two districts (five Middle Schools). I have been subbing in retirement for the past 5 years averaging over 120 school days per year. I have engineering and M.B.A.degrees from The University of Michigan. I have over 40 years experience in senior management positions and startup companies. My wife and I are considering a move to Colorado Springs and wanted some advice how (if it is at all possible) I may become a substitute teacher in Colorado. Is it possible without a full time teacher certification as it is in California? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you
flacka The information you need should be on the local school district website and, if not, call HR and they should be able to tell you about the requirements for subbing.
