Training group did 21 miles on bikes on a glorious summer morning. It was almost 20 degrees lower then 48 hours ago.

Had a heart stopping experience at the water park yesterday when I saw an unsupervised toddler topple head first into three feet of water I ran over there jumped in as I yelled lifeguard twice before she saw I needed help. He was floating head down towards the bottom - it was terrifying to see this. He started crying almost immediately so I think I got there in time. We are doing country roads now in the training group on Saturdays, but on Mondays when I lead my leisure group we stay strictly on bike trails. We have an excellent collection of bike trails here with many new ones in the ...See More

Elaine/ret/IN Men--yes, it was the Rochester-Kokomo trail. We've now ridden most of it. What's left is the southern part into Kokomo. Come to Indiana and ride with us. (You'll be braking all the way--speed is not our forte. Ha!)
