George Bernard Shaw was being asked about how he felt when some critics panned his play. His FULL QUOTE
Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. And those who can't teach are Critics.
So, smile and say, "And the rest of that particular quote is...Those who can't teach are critics.
When they bluster, let them know if they do not know how to find this in a book they can google it and google can even Speak the words, if they were never Taught to Read.
Shaw is saying teachers are the people who teach those who will do.
