Its a hard pill to swallow, I am qualified in my state to teach any and all levels of SPED. Why does DoDEA have to be so stupid and categorize the SPED certs.
Is there anyone on here that has received a referral with only having a LIMM cert?

Because DoDDS has higher certification standards than most states and wants their teachers to have specialized education to teach specialized populations which makes sense in many ways since teaching mod. to sev. is very different to teaching more mildly involved students.
