My offer was at step 1, but only because I hadn't emailed the form from my district for the salary verification. HR sent a new offer with the step 11 salary the next day. But I had the form on hand to send in immediately.

Ok.... I sent the form to HR yesterday when I found out but haven't received it yet. I just got my formal offer this afternoon. I"m hoping they return it to me tomorrow.

2015-2016 is the last year they have listed on their website, so maybe they don't have a new one.

I believe the salary adjustment for the current school year comes after they take an average of teacher salary raises from representative stateside schools of similar size.
They will correct your salary schedule once they get proof.

As has been posted, there is always a lag in getting our raise/new salary scale. On the upside, they are generally very liberal and timely in crediting you for your years of previous experience one you have the forms.
