Thanks, Happy Teacher, especially for understanding I meant vacuum not vaccine. I am thinking of splurging on a Dyson.... We'll see. We move out in less than a week and the vacuum breaks! Definitely want the house spotless and vaccumed for the new owners.

I understood that with the change in voltage, that vacuum motors could be messed up easily. I figured we would buy one that was appropriate for Japan when we arrive, rather than bringing ours with us.

Will my microwave, toaster oven, lamps, TVs, and desktop computer be okay? The most important question though is... will my NutriBullet be ok?

In general, everything should be OK since you would be running them on a lower voltage (as opposed to a higher voltage). From personal experience TV's, DVD players, computers etc will be fine.
