Yesterday when the movers came they said it didn't look close to 350 lbs when I asked. Now I receive an email saying I'm at 416. Ugh... I know I'm not at that weight. I weighed everything in bins myself before they arrived. I was at about 150lbs. They used only one box for other stuff (4 plates, 8 cups, 3 pots, 1 pan, printer paper, strainer, toilet paper, paper towel, Lysol wipes, kitchen knives, and a few other small items). Other things that were not boxed, were wrapped. Such as: a pillow, 2 comforter sets, tool set, tiny printer, a bucket, a mop, and a broom.

Does that seem like it would be 416?

SandArt Thanks, Happy Teacher, especially for understanding I meant vacuum not vaccine. I am thinking of splurging on a Dyson.... We'll see. We move out in less than a week and the vacuum breaks! Definitely want the house spotless and vaccumed for the new owners.

HelpOthers I understood that with the change in voltage, that vacuum motors could be messed up easily. I figured we would buy one that was appropriate for Japan when we arrive, rather than bringing ours with us.

angel Will my microwave, toaster oven, lamps, TVs, and desktop computer be okay? The most important question though is... will my NutriBullet be ok?

haha In general, everything should be OK since you would be running them on a lower voltage (as opposed to a higher voltage). From personal experience TV's, DVD players, computers etc will be fine. Some things that involve heat may not run quite as well but we have never had anything up or die quickly on us. Some appliances with clock features will not ...See More
