I understand that I need 30 course hours to teach in that subject area. If I am state licensed in that area, then I only need 15 hours. On my application, it states that I need 24 course hours to teach ESL (with specific coursework). Does this mean that I will actually only need 12 hours if I'm state certified? I'm finishing up my graduate hours (in May) + Praxis next month for state licensure in ESL, but it's only 12 Graduate hours. Will they approve me upon re-evaluation once I submit the transcripts?
someday I am state certified in ESL and only had 12 credit hours and they qualified me at all three grade levels.

MyDOD Thank you! I really didn't want to take an extra course!

haha As someday said, generally yes. Once you upload you upload any new certifications/transcripts, make sure you click re-evaluate.
