Hey everyone,

My name is Anthony and I am a teacher out in California trying to get into dodea. I was wondering if working at a military academy that is not part of DODEA will increase my chances on being hired? I have a masters in education and a BA in history I will be getting my MA in history by the end of the year I also have a cleared CA credential in social science and 3 years in public school education in CA.
haha IMHO it would not be a significant boost for your chances. Principals would not likely be aware of your background at a military academy unless you had already been referred and selected for an interview. HelpOthers I agree with haha's statements. Also, the pay you receive in CA may be higher than what you will receive in DoDEA. You may want to look into this before deciding to apply.
