Hello. I am very early in the application process for a Dodea teaching job overseas, and I really don't know much about it. Does anyone know if I am able to bring my husband and two kids??

haha Agree, All your current dependents would generally receive transpiration, base privileges, housing, be allowed to attend school (if school age, etc.) with you as their sponsor.

Feel free to ask any more specific questions, otherwise it's kind a broad topic.

haha Whether you live on or off base, you generally have virtually the same privileges that military families have (e.g. free access to gym, library, pool, bowling alley, commissary, BX, etc). Lindsey Just as haha said DOD teachers are federal employees who get benefits similar to military families. When we PCS you can be reimbursed for hotel stays, meals, laundry and such while you are traveling to your post.
