I've read in this chatboard (great info here btw!) that if you can get more certifications you increase your chances of getting hired. I am trained to teach French and Spanish, but I have been teaching English, ELD, Journalism and History and Lit of the Bible. I'm pretty sure I could pass the English PRAXIS exam, would that count as being certified in that category? I'm really hoping to get to Northern Europe where my family lives. Thanks!
Ida All certifications are based on college credits. Having a state certification in an area usually cuts the number of credits in half. For example, you need 30 SH for English.
