About a year and a half ago, I turned down an offer for DDESS position, I realize now it may have been a mistake. I called HR to check on my EAS application, and I was told I have an "exception" on my file. Should I be concerned? Has anyone ever heard of this? Does that hurt my chances of getting hired in the future?

Please help!
haha Well, I would get clarification on what exactly an "exception" is. It is common practice that if you interview and are offered a position but turn it down, you are blocked from interviewing/accepting any offers for the rest of THAT recruiting season.
