The FEA's posting says this: "you will most likely be placed within your current district, possibly for teaching categories that you did not include on your application."

I'm interested that they can put you in a teaching position which is not on your application. Does that mean you can teach something you are not qualified to teach? Or am I reading that incorrectly.

Ida Right, they don't mean application like EAS, it is the application for excess placement. You can choose what areas you want to be selected for, but ultimately you can be placed for anything you are certified in. haha It is the catch-22 of having a lot of certs. It may help you get hired, or not get excessed, or get placed if you do get excessed, BUT you may be forced to teach something you do not want to or are not particularly ready for (and once it's on your DoDEA certificate it's very difficult to get it removed).
