Quals still Pending

I have lost hope for getting a job this year. My qualifications have been pending for almost 4 months now. I am hoping they get reviewed before the next school year. I know that on the phone at HR they said you "could still make a referral list without verification" and another person there said "my quals won't be checked at all until I have a job offer" so I am not sure what is accurate, but it seems it would be better to be qualified in order to make a referral list. Does anyone have some experience with making a referral list or interviewing without have the qualifications verified? I should have started the process earlier, but I was trying to sell my house in San Diego, and I felt I had to wait until it closed.

bleu I was told that only 25 make the referral list (unless there are less than 25 qualified people). I'm not sure if that's correct, but if there are 25 candidates above you with their qualifications verified, I'd think you would not make the list. 25 is a lot though depending on your area of qualifications. SanDiegoTeacher @bleu I can't login in today, but the Quals page still said Pending when I looked at that tab. So I assume that means it is not active yet? I should call and ask.

bleu I think it has to say active to be pulled but I'm not sure. you should definitely call. HR can pull up your application while you are on the phone.
