Hi Falafala, I have been in close contact with the application team. They assured me earlier in the week that they haven't started pulling names for referrals. Yesterday, I received an e-mail asking me to update my application and saying that they will start the hiring process the end of February! So, there is still hope for us!

Make sure to go in and update everything once the system is back up and working (it's down right now), even though you just recently updated it. A bunch of the green check marks will be unchecked and need to be updated to be considered for next year.

Yes. Update soon. You could keep tour date available the same. If they don't find a candidate in the 19-20 pool, they will search the 20-21 pool of applications.
