If I were to get a position in Bahrain, does it make it easier to transfer to another position in Europe? How long is a contract?

IsItFriday? You have an interview, so a little more advice might be useful.

If you take the job, you will be a new employee, and they can fire you at will, although that would most likely happen at the end of year one, or at the end of year two.

ecd5 I'd definitely recommend NOT asking about a transfer at the interview. I'd think that'd be a big red flag that you are already looking to leave. Yes, Bahrain would put you in a higher category IF there is a transfer round, BUT there are many other teachers with more experience in what are considered to be "hardship" higher category locations that w...See More
